in Russia for manufacture of porcelainized stoneware.

Sodium feldspar in Russia
is extracted in two places. In Vishnevogorsk
(Chelyabinsk region) and in Malyshevo (Sverdlovsk
region). Both factories work on complete capacity: 400-430 thousand
tons per one year, in Vishnevogorsk and 170 thousand tons per
one year in Malyshevo. At the same
time in Russia each year the new capacities on manufacturing
ceramic tile - porcelainized stoneware not supported with raw
base on feldspar are started. Expected increase the consumption
feldspar makes 40000 tons per one year. Existing
lack in feldspar the raw material is possible to fill at the
expense of organization of manufacture quartz-feldspar
of raw material. Today works
on acknowledgement of stocks in tailing pit #1 Malyshevo are
conducted. The concentrating line is projected. The line will
use dry enrichment for reception quartz-feldspar
of high cleanliness. Preliminary calculation of the cost price
of dry technology of enrichment has shown an opportunity of
decreasing it about a flotation technology, almost twice.
On base quartz-feldspar
of raw material stored(kept) in storehouse poor quality material
#1, in item. Malyshevo (Sverdlovsk area), in
quantity(amount) 9 million tonn, the technology
of dry enrichment allowing to receive, of high quality was developed.
Received as a result of dry enrichment the quartz-feldspar,
(Quartz-feldspar) is stable on chemical and mineral to structure,
has the contents of iron less than 0,15 %, corresponds(meets)
to the requirements EN RUS ¹ 13451-77. The comparative data
on chemical structure and contents of quartz are given in the
table. Side benefit of the given
raw material is practically complete absence of mica of black
colour - biotit. By unique(sole) lack the quartz-feldspar of
raw material for the removed consumers is the raised(increased)
contents of free quartz - 34 %.

The high contents of quartz in sodium feldspar ,
at drawing up compositions of boadies for a porcelainized stoneware,
assumes use clays with the low contents of free quartz (no more
than 10 %). To these requirements there corresponds(meets) a
number(line) of the marks Ukrainian and Russian Clay. Differently,
quartz-feldspar is entered in ingradient not
only for replacement feldspar, but also for
updating ingradient on quartz.
The sodium feldspar material, received by dry
enrichment from Malyshevo of "tails", was tested in
laboratories "FERRO" (Spain),
where on him(it) the positive responses were received by manufacture
of a ceramic granite.
Besides in September 2005 y. on demand of "Tyumen factory
of facing materials " Malyshevo mine management has put
300 tons quartz-feldspar similar to the staple received with
dry enrichment. Of this staple it has been made 63 000
m.2 the ceramic tiles - porcelainized stoneware
corresponding European requirements EN 99-104, 106 and 202.
